Shooting with BLUA is always a good time. This time, we put together a simple but powerful piece for HumansDid, a platform that helps turn ideas into real impact. They work with individuals and organizations to make activism more accessible and meaningful—cool stuff.
The idea for this piece? A strong speech, a single take, and an actress who could hold it all together. Enter Diane Gardner, who absolutely nailed it.
We shot it on 16mm film, because, well… film just feels different. It brings that organic, textured look that makes everything more raw, more real. In a project like this, that little bit of imperfection is exactly what makes it hit harder.
