This project for Pau Vallvé wasn’t just about the shoot itself—it was about how it landed in my hands. I wasn’t even supposed to be the DP. Another DP was originally on board, but they left, and thanks to my friendship with Pau, I stepped in.
And honestly? What a lucky twist of fate. Not only did I get to be part of this project, but I also met Loida, an incredible director I can’t wait to work with again.
As for the shoot—this wasn’t your typical music video. It was a Music Film: 4 songs, woven into a fictional story about struggle and resilience. A format that blends narrative filmmaking with the raw energy of a music video—and I’m all for it.
Cinema meets music—what’s not to love?
