This time, it was a short film with Jonathan Hertzberg—a project that came together almost by chance. We got in touch through a mutual friend, had a call, and suddenly, we were making a short. Just like that.
What still amazes me is how he managed to pull off that cast. Seriously.
The entire film takes place in a single location, which made it a real challenge for the camera and lighting teams. We were working in an incredibly tight space—an antique shop tucked away in Barcelona’s Gothic Quarter. There was barely any room to move, so I ended up lighting the whole thing with practical lights.
Sometimes, limitations force you to be more creative—and that’s exactly what made this one so rewarding.
